- Aanandi Munshi - Founding President Aanandi Munshi is the Founding President of HGA. She is a junior majoring in Biochemistry and hopes to pursue a career in medicine. She is an NREMT and hopes to serve the community through volunteering. She has more than 200 hours of experience volunteering in the Emergency Room at WakeMed. Aanandi also does research on various projects in the Biochemistry lab and has received multiple grants for her research, most notably one from the NSF. She loves to play tennis, watch Netflix and go on trails in her downtime.
- Oindrila Paul - Executive Vice President & Treasurer Oindrila Paul is the Executive V.P of HGA and the Treasurer. She is a Junior majoring in Human Biology with minors in Microbiology and Environmental Sciences. She works in the Hoyo Epigenetics and Environmental Epidemiology Lab on campus as an undergraduate research assistant. Oindrila is also a member of the pre-health club, Ektaa and is an alum for WISE at NC State. She has experience volunteering at Duke Regional Hospital, and has raised over $3000 for women's education and rights through her event of Maatrirupeno in Kolkata, India. Oindrila enjoys playing racquetball, going on hikes, and playing video games. She is currently studying for the MCAT to pursue a career in medicine.
- Jeannie Pfeiffer - Co Vice President of Internal Affairs Jeannie Pfeiffer is the Co-VP of Internal Affairs at HGA. She is a junior majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Biotechnology and Spanish. She has spent time volunteering with young children in South Africa and studying Spanish in Madrid. She is currently focused on pursuing a career in medicine and will be shadowing and volunteering this upcoming school year. In her free time, Jeannie loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
- Kham Piang - Co Vice President of Internal Affairs Kham Piang is the Co VP of Internal Affairs. He is a senior majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Nutrition. He is currently on the path to become a PA and loves to help the community through volunteering. He has dedicated many hours volunteering at the Moses Cone Hospital located in Greensboro, NC. He intends to also pursue a license in EMT and apply to PA school soon. He participates in various research opportunities around campus and in his free time loves to play guitar, make music, and play soccer.
- Alexander Yang - Co Vice President of Health Programs Alex Yang is the Co-VP of Health and Fitness. He is a Senior Majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology. He is a fully certified red cross lifeguard for NCSU, and a research assistant in Virology in the Biochemistry department. He loves to cook, bike, swim, and eat a lot.
- Alma Victoriano - Co Vice President of Membership Alma is the Co-VP of Membership. She is a junior double majoring in Political Science and Sociology. She is currently planning to go to law school after graduation. She is very invested in the community through programs such as the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) in Wake County. She is also an advocate for inclusion and diversity at NC State. She loves plants and gardening, hiking and going to concerts.
- Diana Nguyen - Co Vice President of External Affairs Diana Nguyen is the Co-External Vice President of HGA. She is a junior majoring in human biology with minors in nonprofits studies and global health. She is currently planning on obtaining an EMT license and eventually attending medical school after graduation. Diana spends most of her time studying and keeping up with work activities, but in her free time she likes to go on walks with friends and visit her home in Greensboro, NC.
- Emma Twer - Co Vice President of Membership Emma Twer is the Co VP of Membership of HGA. She is a senior majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Art and Design. She has an internship/shadowing position at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital with a trauma surgeon where she observes surgeries and participates in research. She also values her job as a health aid for an elderly man who has become a great mentor for succeeding in the medical field. Emma is currently in the process of receiving her EMT License in North Carolina and plans to apply to medical school the summer of 2022. When Emma is not busy studying, she enjoys springboard diving, painting, and hiking with her dog/family.
- Mrithika Pavan - Co Vice President of Health Education Mrithika Pavan is the Co-VP of Health Education of HGA. She is a Junior majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Psychology. She is EMT Certified and works at FastMed Urgent Care as a Medical Assistant. Mrithika has volunteered in the Emergency Department at UNC, as well as doing Undergraduate Research in Breast Cancer at Duke University. She is professionally trained in the classical Indian dance, Bharathnatyam. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, and traveling. Mrithika is currently studying for the MCAT, and she is getting ready to apply for medical school this upcoming year.
